Chic comes with ready-made parameter files for some implementations of the C++ standard library. You can find them in the $CHIC_DIR/src/parameters directory. In order to use them, you must copy the file(s) to $CHIC_DIR/parameters directory and rename them to correspond to the location of the standard library. The name should be the full path of the standard library directory with '#' in place of '/'.

For KCC (and some other Modena based implementations) you need the file:

#usr#local#KAI#KCC_BASE#include
For Gcc, you need the two files:
#usr#include#g++-3
#usr#include#g++-3#std
Note that if the '#'s interfere with the shell you will have to quote them. For example, to copy a file to the parameter directory use:
  cp "#usr#local#KAI#KCC_BASE#include" $CHIC_DIR/parameters
